BETC Shopper depicts a Life’s Adventure for Leroy Merlin

DIY retailer Leroy Merlin unveils a shift in its communication with the introduction of a new tagline “Leroy Merlin. Build Your Life” and a campaign film by BETC Shopper.

Everyone has projects. We all do. Some big, some small. But it is definitely the Home project that is our life project. It’s an adventure, really.

The new campaign film from Leroy Merlin depicts the life project of a couple through the renovation of their house. The film shows the ebb and flow of the project, the doubts, the successes until the final achievement at the end of the adventure and the pride that comes with it.

BETC Shopper chose a metaphor to illustrate this life’s adventure with the odyssey of a house sailing on an open sea. The film celebrates the courage, the energy and the know-how of those who do things, those who get things done and those who help them along the way.

Leroy Merlin is as passionate about these projects as its clients and helps them build their life.

The campaign was directed by Reynald Gresset (La PAC) with Mathias Boucard as director of photography. The film is supported by a cover of the Rod Stewart “Sailing” track.

With this change, Leroy Merlin hopes to give energy to all those who plan to take on the adventure of a home project.
