India’s Presidency University’s latest campaign takes us back in History

Presidency University has a unique place in history. The alumni of the college have distinguished themselves both nationally and internationally in various fields. The University has been a constant source of inspiration to Nobel Laureates, Oscar Winners, Prime Ministers, Presidents, and Academicians in diverse fields.

The University had empanelled Rediffusion Y&R for handling its creative mandate for the celebration of its 200 years. This bicentennial celebration of the prestigious university is a national as well as an international event, with seminars in India, Britain and in the US.

Rahul Jauhari, Chief Creative Officer, Rediffusion Y&R said: “It has been a privilege for the team to work on such a prestigious occasion for one of the iconic educational institutions of India. In the process, we discovered that the contribution of Presidency College to the nation has been so much greater than what is known to most of us. I hope the work helps bring a bit of that to the forefront.”

Suparna Mucadum, Vice President of Rediffusion Y&R Kolkata added, “Education is not only about teaching answers, it is also about inspiring questions. Questions have the power to change the world and that’s what Presidency has been doing best in the last 200 years.”
